Hino’s Most Popular Medium-Duty Model Is Indeed A Truck for All Seasons
Our most popular medium duty truck, the Hino L7 is strong, reliable and provides excellent fuel economy. The L7 is powered by the Cummins B6.7 engine, which provides 260 horsepower and 660 ft-lbs of torque. A 12,000 lb. front axle with a 21,000 lb. rear axle provides a GVWR rating of 33,000 lbs. making the L7 ideal for a wide range of applications from general freight to specialized applications.
The Hino L7 comes standard with an Allison 2500RDS 6-speed automatic transmission with PTO capability. Wheelbases ranging from 187” to 280" allow you to customize the Hino L7 to suit your needs. The Hino L7 is equipped with hydraulic disc brakes (280" wheelbase) or air brakes and ABS (187" to 271" wheelbases). Optional rear air suspension combined with the superb manoeuvrability, excellent visibility and the many standard features for which Hino trucks are renowned, ensures that the L7 will continue to provide outstanding driver comfort.
Hino offers a “clean chassis” as standard for the L7 model. With nothing mounted to the outside of the frame rails behind the cab, the clean chassis configuration is ideal for beverage body applications and for heavy freight.
